SM SHARE MOVEMENT

Bringing Joy to Communities

The SM Store brings joy to communities by distributing essential items like shoes, books, toys, and hygiene kits through the SM Share Movement. On this quarterly donation drive, customers and communities come together and foster the true Filipino spirit of sharing or Bayanihan.

In addition to this, The SM Store gives back by supporting SM Foundation programs on education, healthcare, shelter, disaster response, environmental programs, and care for persons with special needs.

SHARE SHOES

Sharing is good for the soul—and the sole, as exemplified in The SM Store Share Shoes program. Through this project, shoppers are encouraged to donate new or pre-loved footwear. Through the years, the Share Shoes project has collected more than 40,000 pairs of shoes which have been donated to students and families in need.

DONATE-A-BOOK

Anchored on promoting the value of education and the joy in reading especially among today’s youth, Donate-A-Book encourages shoppers to donate new or pre-loved books and school supplies for students in grassroot communities. Through the years, the drive has received more than 250,000 books in donations, which have been distributed to various schools and libraries.

SHARE-A-TOY

In partnership with SM Foundation, the Share a Toy campaign is The SM Store's joint project with Toy Kingdom. The project promotes the community's involvement in spreading joy by giving toys, old or new, to kids in less-fortunate communities and partner organizations.
